Engineer FairGambling: Blockchain Engineer & Researcher

Builds blockchain tracking tools, monitors multi-chain transactions, and investigates smart contracts to verify gambling operator claims onchain.

Mid Remote Posted about 12 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters:
URL: https://fairgambling.com

Blockchain Engineer / Analyst (Remote, Full-time or Contract)

About us – FairGambling We're a fast-growing platform in the online gaming space. Not a casino ourselves, but the layer on top of it: we review, compare, and analyze operators across the industry, with transparency as the whole point. A lot of what we cover happens onchain, so we don't take operator numbers at face value – we verify them. Player reviews are checked against real on-platform activity, not just star ratings. The goal is simple: give players the honest picture the industry usually doesn't.

The role A lot of what we verify lives onchain. We're hiring someone who's comfortable there – building tooling, tracking transactions across chains, and following contracts to surface what operators don't say themselves.

What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and scripts

  • Monitor multiple chains, track transactions, and follow contracts onchain

  • Investigate transaction flows and surface insights for the research and content team

  • Follow trails through data – the work is genuinely investigative

What we're looking for:

  • Experience with trackers, dashboards, and scripts; smart contracts and transaction flows a strong plus

  • Multi-chain experience ideally (EVM, Solana, BSC, TRON, etc.)

  • Hands-on with blockchain explorers and analytics tools

  • Background in a crypto product (exchange, DeFi) is a big plus

  • Investigative mindset – you enjoy digging through data and following trails

To apply, please include:

  1. Onchain tools, trackers, or investigations you've worked on (links / addresses welcome)

  2. Your favorite analytics tool and something you've built or found with it

  3. Your availability and preferred setup (full-time or contract)

Engineer Chief Rebel: Full Stack Engineer (AI-Forward)

Full-stack engineer builds and maintains production platforms using Next.js, Go, and AI workflows, working across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.

Mid Posted about 13 hours ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Austin,TX
URL: https://thechiefrebel.com/

Why This Role Matters

The small business market is massive and almost entirely untouched by modern technology. We're building the platform that changes that. You won't be joining a team that's figured it all out. You'll be one of the people who figures it out, and your fingerprints will be on the architecture.

About the Role

You'll work directly with our Head of Engineering and Head of Operations, embedded in the core product team from day one. This is not a siloed role. You'll have visibility into how decisions get made and direct input into what gets built next.

What You'll Do

Own problems end to end. Discovery, design, build, deploy, and debug with minimal hand-holding.

On the technical side:

  • Build and extend a production-grade platform running Next.js, Go, Supabase, and an async job pipeline built for scale
  • Work across the full stack, React and TypeScript on the frontend, Go on the backend, with cloud infrastructure on Fly.io and Vercel
  • Integrate and manage AI workflows using large language models, document intelligence, and structured data extraction, and know when not to use AI at all
  • Build and improve async processing pipelines with signed delivery, auto-retry, and idempotency built in
  • Help design and build out our go-to-market funnel infrastructure, including tooling that supports outbound prospecting, lead enrichment, and off-market deal sourcing
  • Write clean, well-tested code and contribute to engineering standards as the team grows

On the team side:

  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering on architecture, code quality, and technical direction
  • Partner with the Head of Operations to build tooling that supports go-to-market execution and off-market deal sourcing
  • Translate vague requirements into working systems, and push back when the scope doesn't make sense
  • Help establish engineering culture and practices as the team grows

What We're Looking For

Skills matter. Mindset matters more.

We want someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of professional engineering experience, with real production systems to point to
  • Has built AI-integrated systems end to end, not just connected an interface, but thought through orchestration, output quality, and what happens when things go wrong
  • Is comfortable with Go or Python on the backend and React with TypeScript on the frontend
  • Has worked with PostgreSQL, async job queues, cloud infrastructure, and multi-tenant data design
  • Understands how to scope and ship under uncertainty without needing perfect requirements
  • Can talk through technical decisions with a non-technical founder and a developer in the same conversation
  • Has opinions about the current AI tooling landscape, including contrarian ones

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience building go-to-market or sales funnel tooling, outbound automation, or data enrichment pipelines
  • Familiarity with document parsing, financial data normalization, or working with messy real-world inputs
  • Background in tools built for small business, financial services, or professional services markets
  • Interest in how private companies are valued and what makes them attractive to buyers

What You Won't Find Here

A slow approval process. A 12-step standup ritual. A roadmap locked in six quarters ago.

What You Will Find

  • Direct access to leadership and real influence over product and technical direction
  • Flexible, remote-first work
  • Work with tangible impact on business owners who have spent years building something

If you’re the kind of person who gets excited by a hard problem and wants to help shape what comes next, there’s a place for you here.

Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

You’ll be joining a team of experienced developers who design and evolve widely used products. In this role, you’ll actively contribute to the development of complete features, from Front-End to Back-End, while taking part in both technical and product decisions. Beyond code, you’ll also be involved in discussions around customer value, performance, quality, and maintainability of the solutions.

At Workleap, we’ve moved to a new operating model where AI is part of how we work day to day. We’re looking for developers who already bring AI into their workflow and use it with intent to build, ship, and solve problems faster.

Responsibilities:

  • Ship fullstack features in C# .NET and React that users adopt and rely on;
  • Turn product and design intent into working solutions that solve the actual customer problem, with a real say in what gets built;
  • Deliver data models and queries (primarily PostgreSQL) that stay fast and reliable as the product scales;
  • Shape architecture, standards, and technical direction that make the team faster and the codebase healthier over time;
  • Catch issues before they ship through reviews and testing, so quality holds without slowing delivery.
  • Use AI tools to work faster and smarter, from writing and reviewing code to problem-solving and shipping.

What does your future team look like?

A multidisciplinary squad made up of 2 to 3 full-stack developers, a Product Manager, a Product Designer, and an Engineering Manager. The team is composed of experienced, product-oriented developers who care as much about the value delivered as the technical decisions behind it. We are currently looking to fill three Software Developer II positions to strengthen the team, increase our delivery capacity, and support the product’s evolution.

What are the next challenges awaiting your team?

The main upcoming challenges will be tied to managing and leveraging large volumes of data. We will need to design efficient solutions that allow users to query, filter, and display this data smoothly and meaningfully. This will require both smart technical decisions around performance and user experience, as well as thoughtful data and interface architecture.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software development;
  • Fullstack development experience;
  • Proficiency in C# .NET;
  • Experience with React;
  • Solid understanding of SQL databases;
  • Experience with PostgreSQL;
  • Strong interest in product development;
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI tools into your day-to-day development work.

Salary range: $100K–$130K CAD.

This range reflects our Canada-wide compensation scale. Final offers may be adjusted based on the candidate’s region to align with local market conditions.

Engineer Software Engineer II at Flexport

Build and maintain Kotlin-based backend services for customs automation systems, leveraging AI to streamline logistics workflows at scale.

Mid Posted about 21 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Flexport:

At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That’s why it’s our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. We’re shaping the future of a $10T industry with solutions powered by innovative technology and exceptional people. Today, companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Flexport technology to move more than $19B of merchandise across 112 countries a year.

The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us.

Why Customs Matters More Than Ever

International trade is under more pressure than ever before. With tariffs, shifting regulations, and geopolitical uncertainty, customs has gone from a back-office function to a boardroom priority. The recent trade crisis—sparked by Trump-era tariffs—has made customs the single most complex challenge for global businesses. For many, it’s the difference between keeping supply chains moving or grinding them to a halt.

That’s where we come in. The Customs Technology team at Flexport is leading the charge. We are building the systems that help entrepreneurs and global brands navigate complexity, stay compliant, and keep the world’s goods flowing.

The opportunity:

Customs brokerage is one of the largest, most under-innovated opportunities in logistics. Legacy customs brokers are stuck with outdated systems and manual processes—they simply can’t adapt fast enough.

Flexport is growing fast because we’re different. We are the only big tech company in the space, and the only freight forwarder that got founded after the launch of Netscape. Being a tech company, we can move much faster than our competitors, and give our customers the service they expect in this day and age. We can deploy things like LLM agents at scale, in an industry that is ripe to be disrupted by this technology.

Things we ❤️

  • Leveraging AI in a safe way to eliminate mundane work for customs brokers and automate customs every step of the way
  • Modeling complex and ambiguous domains into fully automated workflows
  • Building highly performant and reliable Kotlin services on our cutting-edge infrastructure platform
  • Collaborating with end users across the globe to create the best possible product: removing toil and surfacing interesting cases

You will:

  • Work closely with business partners and product managers to distill complex business problems into elegant technical solutions.
  • Work on systems that represent the real-world intricacies of logistics entities and the process of moving cargo in and out of countries.
  • Build and launch products rapidly and incrementally. We ship to production dozens of times per day.
  • Geek out about shipping, customs regulations and logistics. (We do this often.)
  • Figure out the most efficient way for our customers and partners to participate in the process of moving freight across borders.
  • Design and build deep, complex integrations with government agencies and partners.
  • Automate archaic customs filing processes and save the operations team thousands of phone calls per week.
  • Deliver supply chain insights to logistics teams via a world-class analytics experience.
  • Create beautiful and efficient domain models for the incredibly complex world of freight forwarding.

You should have:

  • > 3 years of experience writing software, and a strong engineering background.
  • A love of simple, well-tested code that is easy to extend and hard to break.
  • The ability to convey technical ideas in common terms to business partners, product managers, designers and engineers alike.
  • A bias for action. When you see a problem, you solve it.
  • A desire to develop your tooling repertoire. We are tech-agnostic regarding candidate background, but our platform is built with Ruby.
  • Non-optional: an aptitude for learning quickly.

How we work:

  • We come to the office at two to three times a week to hang out, have lunch, white board, and collaborate
  • We have the latest and greatest hardware and software for you to work with
  • We’re agile, but not married to a single doctrine like scrum. The teams decide how they work best.
  • Stack: we’re coming from a React/Flow + Ruby on Rails monolith, and moving to React/Typescript, Kotlin Microservices on Kubernetes. We also use and love GraphQL, GRPC, Postgres, Kafka and Snowflake

What’s in it for you?

  • An opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest-growing companies, where you’ll have the chance to create a global impact while being a part of a  thriving multinational environment
  • Daily catered lunches incl. vegetarian options, breakfast, snacks and soft drinks available in our office on daily basis
  • Commute expenses: Flexport will cover  home-office commuting costs for employees living outside of Amsterdam
  • 25 working days as vacation days based on full time employment.
  • Health insurance: Flexport offers a collective health insurance plan including a basic package and any available additional packages. Your monthly premium is fully paid by Flexport.
  • A defined pension contribution scheme
  • Equity program: every team member becomes a shareholder, aligning our success with yours. As a private company in a multi-trillion dollar industry, you have a direct stake in our collective growth and success.
  • Employee Assistance Program through Aetna Resources for Living: Flexport provides an employer-sponsored program at no cost to you and your household members
  • Parental leave benefit: Flexport is here to support you and your families in one of the most important times in life – the birth of a child! Our parental leave program allows both mothers and partners to take time off from work for pregnancy, childbirth, and to bond with your new child.

Commitment to Equal Opportunity

At Flexport, our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse, dedicated and engaged workforce. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, health status, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
